Here we are the Sabbath after the Feast of Tabernacles, and we've got coming real quickly Halloween! That seems like wonderful thing for kids, because after they get all of the candy and goodies and everything that they have, they get the flu for two weeks because of eating too much sugar.
What a thing to introduce children to: death and demons, and initiate them into the world! So, that's why I think everybody in our neighborhood knows that they don't get anything from us, because the house is locked down tight on Halloween!
Stop and think about it for a minute. Everything of the holidays that are coming up are all for the children, supposedly! However, who is it really for? There are two that it's really for. Think about what it's going to be like when the world keeps the Sabbath and the Holy Days; that day is coming! Maybe not right now, but it will come, just like different prophecies in the Bible. You go along and you think, whoa, will that happen?
Then you hear on the Lou Dobbs show Pastor Jeffress from the Dallas Baptist Church. They were talking about the return of Christ, and Jeffress said that it may be tomorrow or it may be a thousand years.
In the abstract that may be a statement that really needs to be challenged, because it talks about the end-time. It is true that the end time may be a whole lot longer than we have anticipated, but we are closer to it than ever before.
Revelation 18:2: "And he… [the angel (v 1)] …cried out mightily with a loud voice, saying, 'Babylon the Great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a habitation of demons, and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hated bird; because all nations have drunk of the wine of the fury of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her…'" (vs 2-3). We know that's the royal city!
Revelation 17:18: "And the woman whom you saw is the great city that has royal power over the kings of the earth."
Isn't it interesting that the Vatican has ambassadors from every nation earth? That is an amazing thing!
Revelation 18:3: "…and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the power of her luxury."
How do they get rich? Look how much money is spent on Halloween! Christmas! Easter! Then behind that is the whole banking system as well.
Verse 4: "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, 'Come out of her, My people, so that you do not take part in her sins, and that you do not receive of her plagues.'" We have to come out of this system!
Look at the whole world, they're really getting into it, and we're going to see that there's going to be some awesome things take place.

Every once in a while someone who said, 'Fred, you missed it when you said that the Queen of England was about the only monarchy that was active. So, here's what was given to me, a list of monarchs:
- King Philippe of Belgium
- Queen Margrethe II of Denmark
- King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands
- King Harald V of Norway
- King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden
So, I stand corrected!
Then there was one more that I had to correct. This has to do when I talked about the two goats and David Grabbe. I said that he was the brother of Lester Grabbe. Well, he's not, he's 40 years younger, and the only thing we can say is that he has the same last name. How close the family tree is we don't know.
So, I stand corrected on that, and duly note everyone that when I make a mistake and you catch me in it, or I don't catch myself in it, then you write me and we'll take care of it.

I want to cover some very interesting things today. This is when the Apostle Paul was brought before the group down in Caesarea with King Agrippa and some of the Sanhedrin came down. Paul says that what God told him was the commission of what he was to do.
Acts 26:17: "I am personally selecting you from among the people and the Gentiles, to whom I now send you. To open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God… [because the whole world is under the authority of Satan] …so that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified through faith in Me" (vs 17-18)—Christ!
We're looking at what in the world and what is happening. Jesus said, concerning light, 'If the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness?' That's quite a thing to consider!
Let's look at some things that are going to happen. We haven't looked at it this way before. We've gone though Matt. 24 many, many times, but I want to focus on something particularly different this time.
Matthew 24:24: "For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and they shall present great signs and wonders… [not just interesting ones, not just kind of low level ones] …in order to deceive, if possible, even the elect."
I can see one area that some of those in the Church of God could be deceived, and that is this: the Worldwide Church of God in their booklet What is the Mark of the Beast? said dogmatically that 'the mark of the beast is already here and that is Sunday worship.'
That is NOT correct! But if there are churches who believe that, then to receive the mark of the beast will be easy, because look how it is with digital things today. You can even transfer money by clicking phones together. They say, 'God doesn't want you to starve'! How do you know that God won't protect you or watch over you and protect you? We know that there is coming a persecution that is going to result in the death of a lot of the saints.
"…great signs and wonders…"—How is that going to come about? Remember that we covered the last week in Daniel, and that's seven years! The first three and a half years is going to be like there's peace on earth. Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!
How is that being prepared today? If there are signs and wonders to accompany it, isn't that going to be convincing? Everyone can see it almost simultaneously around the world! So, let's look at things just a little differently.
Revelation 13:4: "And they worshiped the dragon…" How is that going to happen? There will be miracles, signs and wonders!
In the first part of the book of Exodus, the first four of the plagues that Aaron and Moses brought against the Egyptians, the Egyptian magicians duplicated. But when it came to the plague of the flies, they couldn't do it. The magicians said to Pharaoh, 'This is the finger of God!'
So, there are powers and principalities who are going to bring about miracles, a false peace! The first three and a half years will be peace, euphoria, building the temple, getting that ready. Everything is going to look like it's going to be a great thing to happen.
"…who gave his authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, 'Who is like the beast? Who has the power to make war against him?'" (v 4).
Verse 11: "And I saw another beast rising out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon; and he exercises all the authority of the first beast before him… [the pope, the false prophet] …and he causes the earth and those who dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he performs great wonders… [this is going to be quite spectacular] …so that he even causes fire to come down to the earth from heaven in the sight of men" (vs 11-13).
Remember what we cover in The Job Syndrome during the Feast of Tabernacles. What was one of the things that came down and destroyed the sons and daughters of Job? Fire! However, what if the false prophet says, 'I do this by the power of God just like Elijah did?' Ahab sent 50 soldiers out to get Elijah, and fire came down out of heaven and devoured them! He sent out 50 more and fire came down out of heaven and destroyed them. He sent out 50 more and the captain of that 50 said, 'Oh, don't call fire down. Ahab wants to talk to you.' Elijah said, 'All right, I'll come!'
So, if the false prophet says that this is from God, the world will believe it!
What is another thing that we hear an awful lot of? If you watch the History Channel, what do they often promote about the Sabbath and Sunday, especially? Ancient aliens! Even the pope admits that!
Then they show these civilizations where you have to say that there was super-natural intervention for them. But that was not from God, that was from Satan! We haven't had that for a long time!

Today we can see that operating in what is called the estate, because this is not just religious, this is political and economic, and it reaches everywhere in the elite in the world.
- Have you heard of the meeting is Davos, Switzerland? The elite, the billionaires, the leaders of nations go there and discuss the agenda for the next year!
- What's going to happen when there are miracles and getting all of these elite to agree?
- What is it that the book of Revelation says? God put it in their hearts to agree and give their power to the beast!
Right now there's a great fight against that because of the difference that is happening in America. Trump is saying that all nations need to come out of a one-world order and provide for their own people first. That's a pushback against this coming world-order. But what will happen is that this is setup so that when that phase is over they can bring it in very quickly! This is what this is: spiritual powers that are pretending to be Allies of Humanity, that want to redirect us to a peaceful world!
Though these Briefings provide an urgent message, they are also about moving towards a higher consciousness called "Knowledge"…
Where did that word first appear in the Bible? The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil! That's why a lot of good in the world looks like it's really good, but why can't it stay around for a while? Because the end of it is evil!
…which includes a greater telepathic facility among people and between races. In light of this, the Allies Briefings were transmitted to the author, Marshall Vian Summers from a multi-racial, extraterrestrial group of individuals who refer to themselves as the "Allies of Humanity."
Coming to bring a benefit!
- Why don't we all stop our wars?
- Why don't we all come to think together?
- Why don't we all lay down our prejudice and hatred?
That's why with the last seven years at the end, the first three and a half is the only time that they're able to look like that mankind is going to solve their own problems.
They describe themselves as physical beings from other worlds who have gathered in our solar system near the Earth for the purpose of observing the communications and activities of those alien races who are here in our world interfering in human affairs….
Job 1:6: "Now, there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD. And Satan also came among them."
Verse 8: "And the LORD said to Satan, 'Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him…'"
What did Satan say? You put a hedge around him and you take away that hedge and he'll curse you! There's coming a day that Satan is going to say, 'Look, Lord, we're all ready, we have these extraterrestrials already in among the world.' What are those? Demons! So, when God gives the permission, a great peace is going to sweep the world. It's going to be something!
…they emphasize that they themselves are not physically present in our world and are providing needed wisdom, not technology or interference….
Therefore, to receive what these Briefings have to offer…
And its author said that all of the things that are in this book was 'channeled' to him by the aliens. So, the first thing that Satan is going to do is verify that there are aliens, and they are aliens who are concerned for humanity and they want to help us.
Certain ones in the elite are the ones who are going to be allowed to have the aliens 'channeled' to them as well. So, it's this new knowledge.
The Allies of Humanity Briefings give us a greater perspective and a deeper understanding of our destiny within a larger panorama of intelligent life in the Universe. In order to achieve this, the Allies do not speak to our analytical mind but to Knowledge, the deeper part of our being where the truth, however clouded, can be directly discerned and experienced.
Look what happens when people get away from God! When they say they don't need God! There are more atheists than ever before. When miracles comes along they fall for it 'hook, line and sinker.'

There is a new hope in the world…
That's how it's going to be expressed!

Knowledge that the principalities and power will bring them!
Hope and fade away and then be reignited. It can seem to come and go, depending on how people are swayed and what they choose for themselves. Hope rests with you. Because the Unseen Ones are here does not mean that there is hope, for without you, there would be no hope. For you and others like you are bringing a new hope into the world because you are learning to receive the gift of Knowledge….
Straight from the Tree of the Knowledge!
…this brings a new hope into the world. Perhaps you cannot see this fully at this moment. Perhaps it seems beyond your understanding. But from a grater perspective, it is so very true and so very important.
The world's emergence into the Greater Community speaks to this, for if no one were preparing for the Greater Community, well, then, hope would seem to fade. And humanity's destiny would seem to be utterly predictable. But because there is hope in the world, because there is hope in you and others like you who are responding to a greater calling…
That's what they say in this book. You read this and you get in communication with these principalities and power, and they will give you knowledge.
…the destiny of humanity has greater promise, and the freedom of humanity may well yet be secured.
The man who wrote this used to attend Churches of God! That's an amazing thing!
How do we stand against this? We know that the more they talk about the ancient aliens and visitors, and people who have been kidnapped and taken up into to so-called space machines. Verily, that may have happened. We are to be on guard!There are secular prophets of a civilization and human potential, and there are 'religious' prophets. There are also economic prophets. We want to focus on the 'religious' prophets first.
Deuteronomy 13:1: "If a prophet rises among you, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder…" (vs 1-2). What did we read of? Brings great signs and wonders!
"…which he foretold to you comes to pass…" (v 2). It will happen, you will see it! People will say, 'This has got to be true because I've see it.' And someone else will say, 'I was there and I felt it; I know it's real!'
"…saying, 'Let us go after other gods…'" (v 2). We can define that a little better: Go after other ways, gods, demons, extraterrestrials, and turning your back on the true God!
"…which you have not known, and let us serve them" (v 2). What do you have to do with every one of these things? You have to serve them!
Verse 3: "You shall not hearken to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments, and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death…" (vs 3-5)—execute them! Today we don't have the power to do that.
Let's see what we are to do, because this is exactly fitting for what we're discussing right now. What are we going to do when we're preaching all along that this world is coming to an end, all the world is sinful, everything that they're doing is contrary to God. Then all of a sudden comes this miraculous thing that comes to the ETs, from Satan the devil, and they show great signs and wonders!
Isaiah 8:19: "And when they shall say to you, 'Seek unto them that have familiar spirits and to wizards…'"
All of these people who will be the leaders will have high-ranking demons with them. They will get to the top levels of government and religion, all religions and all governments! Remember, that's a favorite spot of Satan the devil.
Did not Jesus choose one who was a devil? Judas Iscariot! All during the three and a half-year ministry with the disciples, did any of the disciples know who Judas really was? No, they didn't!
When Judas was sent out with the 12 to preach the Gospel, to heal the sick and all of that, he was doing it himself. That's why it's to the Law and Testimony! He only revealed his hand when Martha was washing Jesus' feet prior to the crucifixion. He said, 'Why did she break that spikenard of ointment and pour it on You; that could have been sold for 300 silver coins and given to the poor?' Jesus said, 'You will always have the poor with you, but not Me.' That's where Satan likes to get. In our church experience:
- Where did the trouble come from that led to all the problems?
- How did that start?
- How did that take down the Church?
There had to be demonic power with that, because look where they are today!
"'…familiar spirits and to wizards who peep and mutter'—but should not a people seek unto their God?…." (v 19).
That's what people are going to say, 'Look, let's seek unto their God.' This is going to be a fantastic thing that's going to take place. I haven't gotten done, yet, with the pope. But the groundwork is being laid.
"…Should the dead be sought on behalf of the living? To the Law and to the Testimony!…." (vs 19-20). That's the key right there!
- the Law—the Old Testament
- the Testimony—the New Testament
"…If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them" (v 20).
Let's see how Satan appears to this world. That's why we have the goat for Azazel. The world, when there are miracles and signs, they cannot tell the difference between Satan and God. Notice that Satan likes to work right away. He doesn't wait.
- What was the first encounter they had, perhaps maybe less than two years into the preaching of the Gospel? Simon Magus!
- What did he want? The Holy Spirit!
He was a magician, but he saw that his magic things didn't have the power as compared to what Philip was doing. After all the things that were being done in healing and miracles that Philip was doing, word got back to Jerusalem that Samaria had received the Gospel and there were baptisms.
- What did God hold back? He didn't give the Holy Spirit, yet, because God knew how dangerous that was!
- Who did they send down there to correct the situation? Peter and John!
They confronted Simon Magus directly. He wanted to buy the Holy Spirit. Peter told him, 'You and your money to the place of ever-burning! So, look at it here: Those people in Samaria—before Philip came—could not tell the difference between the satanic religion and the true God! So, here we are in Corinth, and they have all kinds of different problems that they had there.
2-Corinthians 2:17: "For we are not like the many, who for their own profit are corrupting the Word of God…"—falsifying! How do you falsify? Many different ways! You can misinterpret.
I got an e-mail saying: A woman told me that people go to heaven, because when you read in Heb. 12 that the spirits of just men and women are there. She doesn't know the rest of the Bible concerning the spirit of man, concerning the Holy Spirit, so she assumes people go to heaven.
"…but we speak with sincerity, as from God, and before God, and in Christ" (v 17).
The first part of 1-Cor. 4 is what we must always maintain in our lives, and especially for all the elders in the Church, regardless of what church their in.
2-Corinthians 4:1: "Therefore, having this ministry, according as we have received mercy, we are not fainthearted. For we have personally renounced the hidden things of dishonest gain…" (vs 1-2), Not making money on the brethren, but serving them and giving to them!
"…not walking in cunning craftiness, nor handling the Word of God deceitfully…" (v 2). Same thing! Falsifying the Word of God!
"…but by manifestation of the Truth… [ties in with Isa. 8] …we are commending ourselves to every man's conscience before God. But if our Gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those who are perishing; in whom the god of this age… [world] …has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the Light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we do not preach our own selves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your servants…" (vs 2-5).
The world cannot tell the difference between the true God and Satan. So, when these miracles start coming, and these things start coming down, it's going to be an amazing thing indeed!

If you look at the way things are in education, starting at the earliest age possible, all the way through the university, look at what comes out at the end of the universities; that's something to behold! They're just hostile, against anything to do with God! But they're setup for the fall for miracles. Look at the advertisements for movies on television:
- war
- hatred
- extraterrestrials
There was one movie where you had to wear special glasses so you could see the extraterrestrials among us who look like human beings without the glasses. But with the glasses you could tell who they were.
These deceptions build. And the struggles that we're seeing back in Washington, D.C., right now is the struggle between those who really want to bring this on, and Donald Trump who wants to turn it back! And the people behind him who want to turn it back!
So, it will be interesting what the election of 2020 will be, how that turns out. If it turns it back for a while, God is the One Who showing that the time is not yet.
Think about that it is in every phase of human life today, trying to get everyone nudged closer and closer to the one-world, the one-religion, and to the great deception that is coming! It comes always with a benefit. Paul had the same problem:
2-Corinthians 11:1: "I would that you might bear with me in a little nonsense; but indeed, do bear with me. For I am jealous over you with the jealousy of God because I have espoused you to one husband, so that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted… [that's precisely what Satan wants to do] …from the simplicity that is in Christ…. [here's what was happening] …For indeed, if someone comes preaching another Jesus, whom we did not preach… [false Jesus, false Christianity starting right at the first] …or you receive a different spirit…" (vs 1-4).
In all of these movements there are spiritual powers behind them, to give the impetus, the intellectualism, all of those things necessary.
"…a different spirit, which you did not receive, or a different gospel… [look at the different gospels that are in the world today] …which you did not accept, you put up with it as something good" (v 4). Like this:
Let's listen to it! We want to know what the good is. We don't want to turn down any good. If they have something good to say, that will be just fine!
Even if they are against the Laws of God!
That's how people think! That's why you always must have the Laws of God as the anchor point to bring everything to that. You can understand by some of their language how they speak: human solidarity and things like that.
Verse 5: "But I consider myself in no way inferior to those highly exalted so-called apostles." This had nothing to do with the other apostles of God! But the false apostles, because Paul says they are false apostles.
- they put up with it
- they listened to it
- they said it was interesting
Isn't that what happened in the Church of God? Yes, indeed! Exactly!
Verse 13: "For such are false apostles—deceitful workers who are transforming themselves into apostles of Christ."
You can take this with the other things. The climate change: Everything is climate change. What is that for? That's to get everyone on the same page so they can control them! Tax them! Take their money!
So, there are many leaders who are preaching lies. We'll see that in just a minute. "For such are false apostles—deceitful workers who are transforming themselves into apostles of Christ."
If anyone comes and says there's new hope for the world, and 'we have this special knowledge on how to get it from the extraterrestrials—BINGO!—whether they are religious or not, they are apostles of Satan the devil teaching lies to deceive the people!
Verse 14: "And it is no marvel, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his servants also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness—whose end shall be according to their works" (vs 14-15).

They are going to build a Chrislam place of worship in the United Arab Emirates. It's going to take three years to build. Let's see what happens when that is built.
European Humanism in the making! The pope is behind it. If you get people in a movement, and then you have something spectacular with miracles taking place, they'll all fall in line. I have a special report:

In a renewed and enthusiastic endorsement of globalism, Pope Francis has announced he is hosting an initiative for a "Global Pact" to create a "new humanism."
You may be interested to know that the day before the Global Pact signing event (May 13) at the Vatican…
The Global Pact was to do everything you can to bring people together—whatever organization by whatever means—and he even stated that God has ordained all the different religions.
Well, that's a switch—isn't it? What was the doctrine of the Catholics before? If you're not in the Catholic Church you have no salvation! What a switch!
…is the Catholic feast Our Lady of Fatima.
Remember, there were three visions given! Two the Catholic Church already understands; they've been seeking the answer for the third one.
The Lady of Fatima is very unique, because the only witnesses were Islamic children. That's the key of Islam coming to Chrislam, and Christianity coming to Islam. They already have prayers in the Vatican everyday by Islamic imams. Remember, they have ambassadors from all nations.
Also, the Roman Catholic feast of Mary Help of Christians is celebrated on May 24 (just 10 days after the Global Pact on Education). May 31 is the feast The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
I think I'm going to do a little research and find out how many feast days during the year are devoted to Mary. Robert Bowie Johnson is working on a book: The Spell of Athena, which was the Greek goddess. Mary has been put in place of Athena. But there are statues everywhere in the world to Athena. Guess where two of them are in America? The Statue of Liberty and on top of the Capitol Building is the Goddess of Victory who is Athena. The spell of Athena still deceives the world! That's going to be a great book.
In the United States in Tennessee—Centennial Park in Nashville—they have a duplicate Parthenon with Athena and Zeus, right in America!
It is possible that this Global Pact event may be accompanied by supernatural Marian apparitions. Be watchful (Luke 21:36).
Speculation: What if at the dedication of this Chrislam Temple in the United Arab Emirates when it's finished in three years that there is an apparition of Mary? Think of what that would do to the world. We know that for three and a half years somewhere along the line you've got to calm down and stop the killing of the Muslims one of an other. It says, 'Peace, peace, but there is no peace.' So, they have peace for three and a half years, but it leads to utter destruction when that's over.
Global Pact on Education
The Pope is inviting representatives of the main religions, international organizations and various humanitarian institutions, as well as key figures from the world of politics, economics and academia, and prominent athletes, scientists and sociologists to sign a 'Global Pact on Education' so as to "hand on to younger generations a united and fraternal common home."….
And that's based on climate change!
The Pope added that an "alliance" must be formed "between the earth's inhabitants and our 'common home'…
A lot of the humanists are atheists, but they're still religious! You don't have to have a god to be 'religious'; you can have a cause!
…which we are bound to care for and respect. An alliance that generates peace, justice and hospitality among all peoples of the human family, as well as dialogue between religions." He did not issue a call for a one-world government. Yet.
"In the current situation of globalization not only of the economy but also of technological and cultural exchanges, the nation-state is no longer able to procure the common good of its population alone," Pope Francis told the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences.
Trump is causing many nations to abandon this globalization. That's another reason why so many are against him.
"While, according to the principle of subsidiarity, individual nations must be given the power to operate as far as they can, on the other hand, groups of neighboring nations—as is already the case—can strengthen their cooperation by attributing the exercise of certain functions and services to intergovernmental institutions that manage their common interests."
What happens? When the Beast Power comes on the scene and these new alliances are made, you have all these organization that have been working toward this common good, and then all of a sudden it comes!
The pope intends to use this humanism to bring many more people close to the fold. I think Satan the devil is absolutely behind him, and then they will come in when the miracles take place. There are many things that are taking place that way.
What do we do so that we can know how to watch for these things, and yet, not get caught up in any of it? When it comes, it's going to sound so good!
Prov. 4 is quite a fantastic chapter in the book of Proverbs. It was actually written by David to Solomon. He told him to stay close to God.
Proverbs 4:10: "Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of your life shall be many."
Here's why Solomon in his youth was so much toward God, v 11: "I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in the right paths. When you go, your steps shall not be hampered, and when you run, you shall not stumble" (vs 11-12).
Notice David's admonitions to Solomon, v 13: "Keep hold of instruction; do not let go; keep her, for she is your life." This is for us today so that when all of these deceptions come along we're not going to get caught up in it!
Verse 14: "Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not into the way of evil men."
Notice that all of this was given to Solomon before he was king!
Verse 15: "Avoid it; do not go in it; turn from it, and pass on!" That is absolutely true with the Word of God! Just because someone is able to quote the Bible, but manipulate it in different ways, let's not be deceived with that, either.
Verse 16: "For they do not sleep except when they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away unless they cause some to fall, for they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day" (vs 16-18).
If that's not a prophecy of our day and how we need to follow that… Who is the Light of the world? Christ!
Verse 19: "The way of the wicked is as darkness; they know not at what they stumble. My son, attend to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart" (vs 19-21).
This is why the Sabbath is so important. We come every week and learn more and more of the way of God. Picture this: When you're not able to come to Sabbath services and you don't study at home, by the time next Friday comes around you're really down on the low part! That's why daily prayer and study are absolutely necessary in this world that we have today.
Verse 21: "Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart, for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh" (vs 21-22).
Stop and think about many of the different things that we have in the way of sicknesses that come along. That's because there are so many things in the world that come along that it's hard for us to keep up on what's happening and to avoid it. But if we turn to God, He is going to help us in every way!
Verse 23: "Above all… [that's everything] …guard the door of your mind…"—or your heart!
When you're watching television, you watch some of these ads. I don't watch any of the mainstream media, I just can't handle it. It's all oriented to fun, games, supernatural and satanism! There was an ad by Voyeur. There's a teenage boy and he's looking down at his table and there are two little paper animals that talk. That's all demonism! He says to those two little paper animals, 'I'm going away to college now and my parents are having a discussion with him. 'What do they teach in school?' you have a helper and you can talk to your helper! Who do you suppose that helper is? A nice friendly little demon! 'We won't lead you into evil all at once. We will help you and do good things for you.'
How many teachers are witches? There are a lot of them! As a matter of fact, there are more witches than there are Presbyterians. That's an amazing thing!
"…guard the door of your mind with diligence…"
There's one ad that I have to guard my mind with it all the time. That's the My Pillow man. At the end of the ad there's a little jingle that if I hear it, it takes me three days to get it out of my mind. Think about how much goes into our heads just by casually watching TV. Think! How much of this tends to demonism? Some of it tends to violence. They have another ad where there's a little ghostly figure that someone talks to. That's all opening the door for demonism. Some people will say that I'm just getting carried away; that's just kind of fun and games. How do you think Satan loves to introduce sin? Fun and games!
"…guard the door of your mind for out of it are the issues of life" (v 23)—the very issues, the very fundamental things of life! What is going on in the world? A fight for the mind of every human being! All of this is to prepare the way for the coming of the beast! Here is how you do it. Not only do you guard it, but there are things you have to get rid of:
Verse 24: "Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and devious lips put far from you. Let your eyes look right on, and let your eyelids look straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet, and all your ways will be established" (vs 24-26).
That's quite a fantastic promise! So, whenever things are not going right, go back right here to this Proverb and think about how you can guard the door of your mind!
What are the things that are invading your mind? You can even go through the checkout stand at the grocery store and there are enticing things right there! That's the way the world is.
Verse 27: "Do not turn to the right hand nor to the left; remove your foot from evil."
- let's see how these things go
- let's see what we are to do
- let's see the things that are important
So that we have the protection of God! We can be aware of all these things that are coming. That's why these things are subtly there.
Ephesians 6:10: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the might of His strength." It's a spiritual battle, and we need the Spirit of God to fight against it!
Verse 11: "Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." The wiles of the devil are always enticing words that sound so good! That sound blessedly true, but lead to problems!
Verse 12: "Because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities and against powers, against the world rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual power of wickednessin high places."
That's why once Satan gets up there at the top rung, you can hardly change anything down below. Wherever someone in leadership goes off the deep in for the wrong thing… Just recently in New York City they have a lot of great Charter Schools, so the mayor decides that they're not going to have anymore Charter Schools. What are you going to do about that? That's the mayor!
That's how in high places Satan gets in there. Same way here in California. They mandate the teaching of the 'alphabet perversions'—you know what those are—beginning in the early grades of school.
There's a report out about a mother who wants her boy to become a girl. So, they go to court and the father has no rights so the mother can proceed with the medication to take away the masculinity of the boy and turn him into a girl. The woman who gave the judgment was the judge. It makes you wonder what's going on! The father was denied all rights! That was the first ruling. There was a second ruling—they appealed it—and the father has rights. Think of that, coming to court! Think of the mindset of the mother! It's incredible! Here in California, you can be in terrible trouble if you do not bow down to the 'alphabet perversions' of the people.
Verse 13: "Therefore, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having worked out all things, to stand."
- we are to stand for the Truth
- we are to stand for the love of God
Have those things in our lives daily!
Verse 14: "Stand, therefore, having your loins girded about with Truth, and wearing the breastplate of righteousness, and having your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace" (vs 14-15).
We all have a collective work to do. That is to get out the Word of God the best that we can do, through the means that we're able to do it. Just with the efforts that we have with our websites, we're reaching over four million people a year! We discovered something here recently: There are a certain number of the books that we send out that people have put up on Amazon to sell. So, we get a second use out of the book. There's nothing we can do to stop them from doing that. So, I look at it as that's another way of getting the Gospel out to other people who are interested.
Verse 16: "Besides all these, take up the shield of the faith, with which you will have the power to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one." That's like through an idea here and there, and the next thing you know you're entrapped in something that is not good!
Verse 17: "And put on the helmet of salvation… [which is guarding the door of your mind] …and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God…. [that's why we need to always pray and study] …Praying at all times with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and in this very thing being watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints" (vs 17-18),
Always remember our calling and the things we learned at the Feast of Tabernacles, that God has called us to rule the world! He wants us to grow in grace and knowledge the most that we can for whatever length of time that we live.
1-Peter 5:6: "Be humbled, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that He may exalt you in due time… [the resurrection] …casting all your cares upon Him, because He cares for you" (vs 6-7):
- regardless of what you're going through
- regardless of the trial
- regardless of the pressure
- regardless of the difficulty
- regardless of your mistakes
- regardless of your problems
You can repent and draw to God! Remember, "…casting all your cares upon Him…" is His love!
Verse 8: "Be sober! Be vigilant! For your adversary the devil is prowling about as a roaring lion, seeking anyone he may devour."
How many have been devoured? This book—The Allies of Humanity—is one example!
Verse 9: "Whom resist, steadfast in the faith…" You can't fight them on your own; you have to rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ!
"…knowing that the same afflictions are being fulfilled among your brethren who are in the world" (v 9).
Here is encouragement and consolation; always keep this in mind, v 10: "Now, may the God of all grace, Who has called us unto His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while…"
Some people suffer longer than others, but what happens when they're suffering?
- you examine your life and see what you've done wrong
- you see what you need to do that is right
- you repent and come back to God
What is He doing that for?
"…Himself perfect you… [God Himself is perfecting you in everything that you are going through to]: …establish, strengthen, and settle you" (v 10). That's quite a thing!
Verse 11: "To Him be the glory and the power into the ages of eternity. Amen."
That's the way you can keep strong in the Lord in spite of the world going into a tailspin of insanity and stupidity!
